The Phoenix Hellraisers won their second consecutive Gay Bowl, beating the Chicago United in the finals, 24-13. It was an all-Denver B-division final with the Denver Meeteaters topping the Denver Mountaintops, 27-20.
The tournament also had three teams make their tournament debuts. The Cleveland Rockers made the biggest splash, winning three games and taking third place in the B division. Seattle edged Jacksonville, 31-30, in a B-division consolation game.
