Gay Bowl X seedings and schedule 0

The seedings for Gay Bowl X are finalized, and the schedule has been set. You can see all the information here in an Excel spreadsheet (updated Sept. 23 to reflect correct seedings in Pods F & G). The tab “Adj Votes” shows the adjusted votes (as the lowest and highest votes for each team are thrown out).

Gay Bowl registration extended, 20% rule adjusted 0

This is to inform you that the deadline for player registration for Gay Bowl X has been extended through Wednesday, Sept. 29. All your players must be registered by clicking here.

This extension is due to two reasons:

  • Lack of communication about the original deadline.
  • A change in the interpretation of the 20% straight player rule.

Gay Bowl X rules conference call & seedings announcement 1

There will be a Gay Bowl rules conference call Wednesday, Sept 22, 8pmET.

This is an opportunity to ask our referees any questions on any rule. This call has been very helpful in the past, so feel free to bring up any topic related to the rules and game play. This will help minimize confusion during the tournament. If you can’t be on the call, feel free to have a teammate call in.

Also, the seedings for Gay Bowl X will be announced on the conference call, so be sure to call in!

NGFFL Board elections announced 0

We have established guidelines and procedures for the NGFFL elections beginning this year. Below are the details and dates. We have separated the general election for open board positions and the election for the NGFFL Commissioner.

If you are interested in running for either the Commissioner’s position or an open board position this year, please follow the dates accordingly.
