National Gay Flag Football League

Check out the amazing group of nominees to fill the four slots that are coming open on the NGFFL Board of Directors. The nominees are listed here, complete with their accompanying descriptions of why they pursuing NGFFL leadership. The nominees are:

– Javier Cavero (SoFL)

– Phillip Clawson (Boston)

– Chris Cormier (DC)

– Scott Dinkins (Philly >> NY)

– Peter Goulet (Boston)

– Alexander Jones (Michigan)

– Sam Lehman (NY)

– Patrick McIntyre (Denver >> DC)

– Stephen Osada (Chicago)

– Kevin Smiffy (DC)

Elections will be held online via Survey Monkey the week of Nov. 28.  Each City Leader will be asked to cast votes for four individuals. The top four vote getters will win. Then the new Board, once it takes office, will decide who fills what role.

Continuing on the Board for the second half of their two-year terms are Jared Garduno (Phoenix), Shane Kinkennon (Denver), and Thurman Williams (Atlanta >> DC).

The Board asks that only the designated City Leader for each NGFFL member city communicate with these nominees, just to keep the nominees from being overwhelmed. If you have a question you’d like asked of one or all of the nominees, please communicate with your City Leader so they may pass that question along if they so choose.

Let’s all be grateful that so many quality people are willing to raise their hand to give back in the form of moving the NGFFL forward.

The NGFFL Board has extended the deadline for nominations for the 2011 elections by one week. The new deadline is Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2011, 11:59pm PST. The extension will give the Board additional time to generate communication about the opportunity for greater service.

There are seven total slots on the NGFFL Board of Directors, and four of those are now up for election. The terms of Jared Garduno, Shane Kinkennon, and Thurman Williams continue until this time next year.
