Houston, We Have No Problem!
Many things are happening in Houston, TX these days. Houston just made history by electing its first openly Gay Mayor, Annise Parker and Houston is making History again!
Kiplinger Magazine said it best when they released an article stating, “It’s the city of big plans and no rules, beat the heat tunnels and loop-the-loop highways, world-class museums and wiry cowboys, humidity that demands an ice-cold martini and the biggest damn liquor store on the planet. How could you not love Houston?” And we Houstonians could not agree more.
Houston has hosted an array of events in its existence ranging from Super Bowls, the Latin Grammy Awards and NBA & MLB All Star Games. Along with numerous events, Houston has also been home to many “firsts”:
• Houston was the very first word spoken on the moon by Astronaut Neil Armstrong
• Houston is home to the World’s first Domed Stadium, the Astrodome
• NOW Houston’s first and only Gay Flag Football Team will host its first annual flag football tournament in March.
We cordially invite you, with open arms to Houston’s 1st Annual Bayou City Brawl brought to you by the Houston Hurricanes. The tournament will be held the weekend of March 12-14, 2010 at Houston Sportsplex. We plan on hosting round robin games followed by a championship tournament to see who comes out of the BRAWL unscathed.
Round up the guys & gals and come out to a good ole fashion Texan BRAWL.
