Gay Bowl IX teams: Insights and previews!
This is an open forum to talk about what you’ve seen or know about your team and other teams headed to Gay Bowl IX. Maybe you’re a captain and didn’t get to put everything you wanted in your team description; Maybe you’re a player and have some thoughts on what you saw in Chicago; Maybe you know some new players on a team who can make a difference: All of that info is welcome on the post here.
Two caveats: 1) Please don’t disparage people or teams; 2) Please don’t share information here about the specific play of other teams (e.g., “Team Seattle has weak DBs so you can throw deep on them all day”). This is intended to be about personnel and the general play of teams. Make it constructive so captains can all rank teams as accurately as possible. Thank you!
The only added info I have is that the New York Fire will be as talented at the top of their roster as any other team in the tournament. The guys who have joined that team are exceptional athletes and football players.
Oh, and the addition of a linebacker to the New York Warriors is a BIG upgrade from the broken down old man they used to have
A little birdie poked me and told me that I was an idiot for not adding in our description that the only team the Phoenix Hellraisers lost to in Salt Lake City was the 3 time defending champions New York Warriors. One game was lost in overtime and the other was by a touchdown.
