The National Gay Flag Football League was born in 2002 with the first “Gay Super Bowl”. Since then, the organization has grown to include 18 different organizations and more are joining every year. The NGFFL assists the formation of new organizations and encourages participation in local leagues across the US and Canada. In addition, the NGFFL puts on its annual GayBowl championship flag football tournament hosted by one of its members.
