National Gay Flag Football Hall of Fame Nominations

Thank you for nominating a special National Gay Flag Football League Member for consideration of induction into the NGFFL Hall of Fame. Before completing the form, please be sure to review the eligibility criteria.

We are currently accepting nominations for consideration in the 2016 Induction cycle. Nominations received by July 1, 2016 will be considered in the 2016 Induction cycle. The completed nomination form, picture, video and any supporting materials must submitted through this website by 11:59 pm July 1, 2016, Pacific Time.   Nominations received after this date will be considered for the following year.

The legacy of NGFFL will be kept and passed down to future generations of flag football players by way of our organization's "Hall of Fame". In 2010 the league shall initiate its Hall of Fame to honor the achievements (both on and off the football field) of people in gay flag football. The purpose of the National Gay Flag Football League Hall of Fame is to provide a historical perspective and perpetuate the history of gay flag football and Gay Bowl.

Criteria
Membership Eligibility:

Nominees should have made significant contributions to their leagues and/or to the NGFFL. Notable exceptions are death and unforeseen relocation of a member that prohibited them from participating for seven consecutive years.

The applications may be submitted by any person who is familiar with the candidate. Nominated people who are not inducted shall be automatically resubmitted for two additional years. After the three-year period, the nominator of the applicant shall be notified and asked to submit an updated application for the nominee.

Voting members will have 14 days from the date the ballots are distributed to return them to the Director of Operations. The Director of Operations will tabulate the results of the voting, and notify the nominees, NGFFL Officers, and the living Hall of Fame candidates of the results. The voting members shall meet via teleconference annually to elect the new Hall of Fame.
